Nicole joined our team in fall of 2015. She brings 10+ years of experience in the recreation field specifically Aquatics & Youth Programming. She was born and raised in Johnsburg where her passion for helping kids started at a young age. From her earliest years, she would assist in her mom's classroom helping kindergarten students at Edgerbrook Elementary School. Her passion for travel took her to Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA where she graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Marketing. During her freshman summer, she took a job as a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Duncan. It was her first foray into the recreation field and started a lifelong passion for making lasting positive memories for youth and families. Before coming back to her hometown, Nicole spent her life dedicated to the YMCA mission for the last 10 years. Her roles included Asst. Camp Director at YMCA Camp Duncan, Senior Program Director at the YMCA of Greater Tulsa with a focus on day camp, aquatics, and youth athletics, and Associate Executive Director for the YMCA of New Orleans. She brings a joy for serving the community, the team, and helping promote the MMAC mission and team vision..
