About Us

The McHenry Marlins Aquatic Club (MMAC) is a USA Sanctioned swim team under the Illinois Swimming Sanction. Our team consists of two separate seasons. Our Winter season runs September-March. The Winter team competes in Illinois Swimming (ISI) meets along with our recreational Northern Illinois Winter Swim Conference. The Summer season runs May-July. The Summer team competes in Illinois Swimming Long Course meets along with our recreational Northern Illinois Summer Swim Conference. Coaches are USA Swimming Certified, and Winter/Year-Round swimmers must have a current USA swimming membership. MMAC has produced local, state, zone, and nationally recognized swimmers. Our swimmers have gone on to swim competitively in Division III to Division I schools.

To provide an avenue for children to safely advance in the world of recreational and competitive swimming in a safe and supportive environment directed by USA certified coaching staff.

 

The McHenry Marlins Aquatic Club (MMAC) facilitates a competitive swim team for youth ages 6-21. Our focus is one individual swimmer advancement through program training, technique development, and personal goal setting. Our coaches work to encourage each child to achieve a personal best through dedication and hard work.
