Coach Mike is in his second tenure with PACESETTER AQUATICS, having first joined the program in 1991 before moving across the river to coach with Lakeside Swim Team. He returned to PACE in the Fall of 2015, taking on the dual role of Head Coach for both PACESETTER AQUATICS and the Jeffersonville High School swimming program. With over 30 years of coaching experience across club, masters, high school, and collegiate levels, Coach Mike’s wealth of knowledge and leadership has been integral to the success of countless swimmers.

A graduate of the University of Louisville, Coach Mike set five school records during his collegiate career. His coaching journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence, producing swimmers who have achieved significant success. Since his return to PACE, Coach Mike has guided numerous swimmers to collegiate careers, including several school record holders, conference champions, and All-Americans.

His leadership at PACESETTER AQUATICS and Jeffersonville High School continues to inspire athletes to achieve excellence at every level.

Tyler’s journey with PACE began in the Fall of 2008 as an athlete, and in 2019, he returned with a renewed passion for the sport as a coach. In the Spring of 2023, Tyler took on the role of Head Age Group Coach, where he has since elevated the program to new heights. Under his leadership, the Age Group program has flourished, breaking records and reaching unprecedented levels of success.

Throughout his time with the team, Tyler has been instrumental in the development of our athletes and the ongoing success of the Pacesetter Age Group program.  In 2025, Tyler guided our largest-ever group of athletes to a top 25 finish at the Indiana Age Group State Meet—marking our first top 25 placements in over 15 years. His athletes have qualified for Divisional, State, NCSAs, Zones, and Speedo Sectionals, and have shattered more than 30 club records, with many more to come. Tyler’s commitment to building a strong, competitive program has made him a key force in the ongoing success of PACE.

As an athlete, Tyler was a standout freestyle specialist, honing his skills at Jeffersonville High School. He earned a spot in the 2014 IHSAA State Finals, competing in both the 50 and 100 Freestyles. He continued his academic and athletic journey at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he was a 12-time Conference Finalist, 3-time Conference Champion, and a School Record Holder. Tyler's passion for swimming, combined with his dedication and expertise, ultimately brought him back to PACE, where he continues to inspire and develop the next generation of swimmers.

Tyler’s blend of coaching experience, competitive success, and personal dedication makes him a key leader in our program, and he remains committed to creating an environment where athletes thrive both in and out of the pool.

 

  Coach - Gold Group & Jeff MS
     Zak Griffis 
    

Zak rejoined PACE in the Summer of 2023 after a successful tenure as the Head Coach of Jeffersonville Middle School’s swim team. Since returning, Zak has played a pivotal role in developing and mentoring young athletes, coaching many of them to their first-ever championship meet qualifications. His guidance has propelled several swimmers to top 8 finishes at the Age Group State Meets, underscoring his ability to foster talent and inspire excellence.

Zak’s journey with PACE began as an athlete in 2008, and his love for the sport continued to flourish through his high school years at Jeffersonville High School and later at Transylvania University, wher he specialized in Mid-Distance Freestyle and Butterfly.

Today, Zak continues to be an active competitor, representing PACE at various Masters meets throughout the year, including Masters Nationals in 2024. His dedication to both coaching and competing allows him to stay connected with the sport, bringing a fresh perspective and passion to his coaching.

Zak’s combination of firsthand athletic experience, coaching success, and ongoing involvement in the sport makes him an invaluable member of the PACE coaching staff. His commitment to developing athletes and fostering a positive, competitive environment continues to leave a lasting impact on the program.

 

  Coach - Silver Group
     Hallie Dixon
    

Coach Hallie brings a wealth of experience and expertise to PACE after a standout collegiate career as a distance freestyler and IM specialist. During her time at McKendree University, Hallie earned All-American honors in the 400 IM, solidifying her reputation as one of the top swimmers in her event.

After completing her undergraduate career, Hallie continued her academic journey by attending graduate school at the University of Louisville. Now, Hallie returns to PACE, her childhood swim program, to give back and share her experience with the next generation of swimmers.

Hallie’s dedication to excellence, both in the pool and in the classroom, makes her an valuable asset to PACE. Her combination of personal achievement, coaching insight, and a deep connection to the program creates a unique and motivating atmosphere for the athletes she works with.

 

  Coach - Bronze I and II
     Lindsey Keller
    

Coach Lindsey joined Pacesetter Aquatics as the Bronze Group coach in the fall of 2025, bringing a lifelong love for the sport and a strong foundation in athlete development.

Lindsey’s connection to PACE began in 2010 when she joined the team as a swimmer after she fell in love with the sport that summer. Although her career was cut short due to injury, she stayed involved as a Team Manager at Jeffersonville High School, experiences that shaped her passion for mentorship and coaching.

Her coaching journey stated as a swim lessons instructor in 2020 before she joined The Jeffersonville Aquatic Club Coaching Staff (JAC) in 2023. While with JAC she worked with all age-group athletes to build skills, improve technique, and develop competitive confidence.

Lindsey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Bellarmine University and a Master’s in Sport Administration from Xavier University, and is excited to now share her passion with the next generation of Pacesetter swimmers.
