Pacesetter Aquatics Shines at The Nat — Riviera Meet Recap (Oct 18–19, 2025)

Pacesetter Aquatics continued its early-season momentum this weekend at the Riviera Meet held at the world-class IU Natatorium, posting strong results and 105 swims that met or surpassed Indiana Swimming championship standards.

The team combined for 36 Top-8 finishes and an impressive 104 Divisional and 1 new State-level cut across the two-day meet. Swimmers showed excellent range in the middle-distance Freestyle and Backstroke events, with significant improvements from both veteran and developmental athletes.

Leading the way was Chloe Johnson, who recorded nine swims under Divisional standards — an outstanding showing across Free, Back, Breast, and IM events. Molly McGowan added to the headline performances by achieving a State qualifying time in the 100 Free, while also posting multiple Divisional standards. Other strong multi-cut performances came from William Aubrey, Lorelei Bingham, and Cole Fekete, who each tallied 7–8 standard-level swims across a range of events.

The team also stacked the finals heat sheets, producing 36 total Top-8 finishes, highlighted by several podium-level swims from all age groups. Coaches note continued growth in race execution, turns, and pacing — setting a strong tone for the mid-season meets ahead.
