Swim families, we hope everybody is having a great fall!
See below for a few things our PAWW board wanted to share with our families. Always feel free to respond with any questions.
- No lessons November 9th for Girls Sectional Championships
- 2025 Lessons registration will be up mid Novermber!!!
- For the swim team Coach Derek is working on a “Welcome letter”, all existing families will get it then any new families coming in. There will be some basics of competitive swim and lots of good information. Be on the lookout and save it for future reference!
- Red Raider and Western Great Lakes are both open for registration! (Great Lakes is a qualifying time meet)
- Girls HS Sectionals: November 9th many of our senior PAWW girls will be competing at Sectionals. We would LOVE to give them as much support as possible. If you can make one of the meets come out and support our swimmers!! At Normal West sectional: Washington Co-op (includes Washington, Morton, EP) and Normal West - PAWW Swimmwers, At PND sectional (at Central Pool!) PND, Metamora, Richwoods, Monmouth, Dunlap, Pekin- PAWW Swimmers!
- Apps: Coach Derek will share some but we wanted to share a job aid for On-Deck which is an app for your phone that has same functions as logging into Team Unify but is more mobile friendly. This job aid helps with finding time standards, registering for events and volunteering along with other cool features.
- Another APP FYI for new families is “Meet Mobile” if you see a parent checking results on their phone its via meet mobile. Everything from summer meets, HS meets, pro meets, college, club, etc can be found on meet mobile.
- Lastly if any new family would like to be paired with a veteran family please reply. In the past we have had veteran familes mentor new families. Just somebody to answer questions and be a resource at meets. Reply to this email if interested.
