Alex Silver
Alex has been coaching swimming since 1999.  From 2005-2007 he was the Associate Head Coach with the Oakland Undercurrents, where he was instrumental in helping the team grow to over 150 swimmers, including Junior Olympic and Far Western Champions, and Oakland City League Record Holders.  While working in Oakland, Alex was a volunteer assitant coach for the UC Berkeley Men's Swim Team.  Alex also served as Head Coach of Montgomery High School, where he coached a National Record Holder, and as assistant coach with the Santa Rosa Neptunes.  Alex has been Head Coach of LAC since 2008.  In 2010 he was one of 10 coaches nationally to be selected into the American Swim Coaches Association Fellows program.  Alex has had the opportunity to coach JO Champions, Far Western Champions, Junior National Finalists and an Olympic Trial finalist at LAC.  LAC has consistently been in the top 10% of teams in Pacific Swimming when rated on number of National Qualifiers per swimmer.  Alex has achieved American Swim Coaches Level 5 accreditation in both Achievement and Education. This puts him in the top 1% of coaches in the USA according to ASCA.  In 2019 Alex became a National Team Coach. Alex also has International and Collegiate coaching experience as a coach at Plivaj's Najobli Swim Camps in Croatia.  
Lisa White

Lisa has been coaching on LAC since 2010. She has coached JO Champions and Far Western finalists, Pacific All-Stars, and the developing athlete. In 2018 Lisa was nominated for USA Swimming's Age Group Coach of the Year after having coached 2 swimmers to several USA top 10 performances. Lisa's passion is to use swimming to help each individual grow to their fullest potential; she inspires young athletes to excel in and out of the water. Lisa is highly skilled at coaching the Pre Comp through Senior Elite athlete and is able to challenge athletes while seeing them for the unique human beings they are. As an athlete, Lisa swam for the University of California, Davis. She was a 3-year captain, NCAA D2 Qualifier, and a Top 10 Times swimmer. As an adult athlete she is a 2 time Masters Champion and an Ironman Triathlon finisher. Lisa currently lives in Livermore with her husband and 2 boys.

 
 
Scott Hartz
 
Scott has been coaching swimming for three years and was a competitive swimmer for over ten. Scott specializes in early to intermediate stroke development as well as endurance and sprint training. He strives to maintain a fun, yet challenging, atmosphere for his swimmers, boosting both their confidence and ability. Prior to coaching, Scott worked in the gaming industry for over a decade with companies such as EA and Namco Bandai. Scott is also a member of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee and has the privilege of interviewing and evaluating Yale applicants in the Tri-Valley area.  As a swimmer for the Santa Rosa Neptunes, Scott set numerous pool and team records, was Far Westerns champion, and competed at multiple Junior National events. Scott was also fortunate enough to swim for Yale University achieving the team's fastest 400 IM time his freshman year. Scott and his wife have been together since meeting through high school swimming and currently live in Livermore with their two girls.
