  12. What makes Greenheads Swimming different?

1. How does my child sign up for the Greenheads?  The first step is contact the coaching staff to schedule an evaluation.  The evaluation determines training group placement and only takes about 15 minutes.  Children are placed into the appropriate training group primarily based on their ability and previous swimming history.  Call Coach Sari Carroll at (609) 287-5771 or Coach Robin Taylor at (609) 266-7946

2. Where are Greenheads’ practices held?  The Greenheads winter practices are held at the Brigantine Aquatic Center located at 3118 Bayshore Ave, Brigantine, NJ 08203

3. What are the costs?  There is an annual registration fee for all swimmers.  Tuition varies by training group and is paid monthly.  Meet fees can vary depending on location of the meet and/or the level of the meet.  Fees are different depending on whether your swimmer is competing in summer league, winter league or year round USA swimming. Please contact our coaching staff at the #'s above for more information.

4. Where can I find the team handbook? On our "Documents & Forms" page.

5. Does my child have to attend all practices and meets?  Only if they would like to.  The Greenheads’ coaching staff utilizes a "progressive" system of training.  Swimmers in our younger groups are permitted to attend up to a certain number of practices per week.  As a swimmer moves up training groups, he or she may add more practices.

However, swimmers in the Gold, Silver & Platinum groups do have minimum practice requirements due to the level of competition the swimmers compete. Regardless of their level, each athlete will go as far as their dedication can take them

The Greenheads’ meet schedule does what no other team can... offer a variety of meets for every level of swimmer.  Swimmers are encouraged to attend meets as their family schedule permits.  The Greenheads offers adequate opportunities for children to compete.

Younger swimmers will generally compete in the Greater South Jersey Swim League (winter) or Streamline Summer Swim League, where meets are held between various local clubs in South Jersey. As the swimmer progresses, he or she can compete in USA Swimming meets throughout New Jersey, the Eastern Zone and the Nation.

6. Will my child have FUN?  YES!  The coaching staff enjoys laughing and having a great time at practice and at meets.  The coaching staff will always create challenging workouts to teach children and that true FUN comes in being successful at any level.

7. Will my child get individual attention?  YES!  The Greenheads maintain a small swimmer to coach ratio - this ensures that your child is not lost in a sea of arms and legs in their lane, and that they are able to work effectively on the techniques being taught.

8. How do I sign my child (or myself) up for meets & events? Please see our instructions page*

9. How do I suspend or cancel my child's account? Fill out a cancellation/suspension form (located on our "Documents & Forms" page). Form must be turned in by the 15th in order to take effect the next month.

10. What are the cut times for meets & champs? For league champs, there are no cut times - athletes must participate in at least two league meets during the season to be eligible. For USA championship cuts, please see the links below:

11. How can I see my child's times? There are several ways you can follow your child's progress:
