Good morning Five Star swimmers and families! What a great weekend of fast swims in Hershey by Five Star swimmers! Way to go team! A BIG thank you to all the coaches who spent their weekends pool side cheering on our kids and offering encouragement at every turn- your Five star parents appreciate you greatly!
Updates from Coach Steve
What an amazing weekend of swimming! The smiles said it all. I am so proud of the swimmers and the way they competed this weekend. They swam with grit and determination. They raced every race and because of that we had an incredible number of best times. Parents, thank you for cheering for the team. Swimmers, thank you for being there at the end of the lanes to support your teammates. This weekend was a true team effort.

- Please sign up for events for the APPLE meet and the Five Star Cup.
- If you missed the LAC IMX Meet sign up, please email me ASAP
- Consistency at practice (attendance and effort) pays off at the meets.
- Please have swimmers at practice 10 minutes before the start of practice.
- Label all swim items
- Swimmers need to clean their water bottles
- Look for a lost and found photo coming to your inbox later today. We have quite the collection!
- Start to look ahead at the championship meets. Some have been updated with entry files and information.
John Apple- Meet Volunteers Needed!
We are still in need of many volunteers for the John Apple Meet on January 10-11th. Please sign up for an open position via the Team Unify site. Sign-ups are located under the “Jobs Sign-up” Tab.
Reminder that we require all families volunteer for at least one shift. If you are new to the team, we will help train you that day so please don't hesitate to sign up - this is an all hands on deck (literally!) event.
