Updates from Coach Steve

Championship meet entries are fast approaching.  Please commit yes or no.  If your swimmer is close and can attend, please commit yes.  I can update entries as we get closer.

 

Practice attendance is important as we head into the final part of the season.

 

Sickness- If your child is sick, PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME.  Sickness travels through a swim team very quickly.

 

Five Star Cup

Volunteer sign-ups for the Five Star cup are live. Please login to your teamunify account to sign up.  The Five Star Cup will be held February 21 & 22 and is a prelims/finals meet.

SafeSport

USA Swimming Safe Sport staff is hosting Zoom trainings for parents, minor athletes and coaches to assist clubs in completing the Training and Education requirement of the Safe Sport Club Recognition program.

 All participants will need to register to attend training.  

Parent Trainings:

·    Tuesday, January 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET – REGISTER

·    Tuesday, February 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET – REGISTER

·    Tuesday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET – REGISTER

Athlete Trainings (12-17 years old):

·    Thursday, January 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET – REGISTER

·    Thursday, February 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET – REGISTER

·    Thursday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET – REGISTER

 

 

 

Parents and Athletes also have the option to take the course online! Take it anytime at your own pace. Training is valid for 18 months from the date of completion.

1 Star: M/W 6:15-7:00; Friday 6:00-7:00; Saturday 10:00-11:00

2 Star: M/W 6:15-7:15; Friday 6:00-7:00; Saturday 10:00-11:15

3 Star: T/Th 6:15-7:30; Friday 6:00-7:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00-11:15

4 Star: M-Th 5:45-7:15; Saturday 8:00-10:00 a.m.

Senior Team: M-Th 4:30-6:15; Friday 4:30-6:00; Saturday 8:00-10:00
