WAHOOS SWIM LESSON PROGRAM

We offer morning, daytime, evening and weekend classes.

At WAHOOS, the swimming instruction program begins at each individuals level. For children under three, the program stresses basic water safety.  For children over 3, there are six levels which are achieved through our private lesson program.

Level 1- blowing bubbles (face in the water)

Level 2 - free and back float

Level 3 - freestyle

Level 4 -backstroke

Level 5 - breaststroke

Level 6 - butterfly

• Wahoos offers infant and toddler group classes from 6 to 36 months.

• Wahoos offers private lessons for all children ages 3 and over.

• Wahoos offers adult lessons for those not comfortable about their swimming.

New Winter 2024 Information

LITTLE FINS GROUP LESSON (Class offered late afternoon, evenings and weekends)

• 45-minute group lesson, once a week.  Swimmer must be recommended by a Wahoos instructor for this group.The session length will vary.

•  6:1 ratio

• $25 per group lesson

• Classes offered Monday - Friday  4:25pm &  7:00pm   Saturday and Sunday 10:00am & 2:00pm 

PRIVATE LESSONS

• 3 years and older

• 25-minute lesson, once a week.  The session length will vary.

• $30 per lesson

• Classes offered weekday mornings, afternoon and evenings.  Weekend classes also available

INFANT AND TODDLER - GROUP CLASSES

• (6 month up to 3 yrs) This group lesson is designed for your toddler to become comfortable in the water through songs and interaction with parent and instructor. 

• Classes offered Thursday - Friday @ 9:30am 8:1 ratio

• Classes offered Tuesday - Wednesday @ 6:30pm 4:1 ratio

• Classes offered  Sunday @ 9:00am & 9:30am . 8:1 ratio

• 30-minute group lesson, once a week.  Session length will vary

• $25 per group lesson

          WAHOOS LESSON PROGRAM POLICIES

• Registration and payment is completed online at our TeamUnify site by clicking the Lesson Registration button above.

• If paying by check, payment must be made by the 2nd lesson.

• Once enrolled you are obligated to complete the entire lesson session.

• Private Lessons - NO MAKE UP POLICY or rescheduling of lessons.

• There is a yearly $40 Registration Fee per family payable each September which is non refundable.

• If you are not a member of the club, you may not use the club facilities other than for your program.

• If you are interested, please put your name on the waiting list. We will be contact you by email/phone as soon as we have availability. 

• Inquiries can be made by email or phone.

Please DO NOT register for lessons unless you have spoken to the office and have an asssigned slot !
