2025 SUMMER SWIM TEAM

REGISTRATION BEGINS MAY 5th & ENDS ON MAY 21ST

  • SWIMMER EVALUATIONS: 
    • Swimmers that have previously swam on CVY or LCY’s Winter Team, Summer Team or Stroke/Conditioning, you do NOT have to come to an evaluation.
    • If your swimmer will be new to the program, you can bring them in for an evaluation from 4:30-7pm on
      • Tuesday, April 29th & Wednesday, May 7th at the Coatesville YMCA Indoor Pool
      • Thursday, April 24th & Monday, May 12th at the Lionville YMCA Pool
    • Evaluations will only take 10 minutes.

    • Requirements
      • 5 to 10 years old:
        • Will be asked to swim a 25 meter free with rotary breathing/face in the water and 25 meter back without stopping and must have some knowledge of breast and butterfly. 
      • 11 & Over:
        • Will be asked to swim a 50 meter free & 50 meter back. 
        • Must know and attempt a 25 meter breast and butterfly. 
  • SUMMER SEASON RUNS FROM MAY 28th to JULY 19th.
  • AGE REQUIREMENTS:
    • Swimmers MUST be 5 years old as of 6/1/25.
    • Swimmers cannot be older than 18 years old as of 6/1/25, unless they have not graduated High School.
  • MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
    • Swimmers must have a CVY OR LCY branch membership to be on the team.
  • SWIMMER COST: 
    • $325 per swimmer w/ a family membership and $350 per swimmer w/ a youth membership - Silver, Purple, & Arctic
    • $385 per swimmer w/ a family membership and $400 per swimmer w/ a youth membership - Blue
    • $550 per swimmer w/ a family membership and $350 per swimmer w/ a youth membership - Senior
    • NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee (this includes team t-shirt & gift)
      • $50 - 1 swimmer
      • $90 - 2 swimmers
      • $135 - 3 or more swimmers
  • DESCRIPTION OF PRACTICE GROUPS 
    • ​PLEASE NOTE THESE DESCRIPTIONS ARE JUST A GUIDELINE OF WHAT THE GROUPS MAY BE.  ONCE THE COACHING STAFF KNOWS WHO IS RETURNING FOR THE SUMMER, THEY GO IN AND EVEN OUT THE GROUPS FOR SAFETY REASONS (TOO MANY SWIMMERS IN A LANE).   GROUPS WILL BE EVENED OUT BY THE CURRENT DEMOGRAPHIC OF THE TEAM.
