West Chester Area YMCA Marlins Mission and Vision Statement

The West Chester Area YMCA Marlins is part of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine.  We are a diverse community joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of kids in a safe and supportive environment, promote healthy living, and foster social responsibility. We take a thorough approach to keeping children in our programs protected. Prevention Policies are in place at all levels of our organization. The children of Chester County have the right to a happy and safe childhood, and it's our responsibility as adults and organizations to stand up to protect that right. Childhood safety extends beyond our facilities though. This is why we are committed to sharing what we know with the community. It is our collective responsibility to be informed and to keep children safe from harm.

Across Chester County, our programs and facilities are always based on the unique needs and interests of the communities we serve. In addition, our volunteers, staff, members and donors are all united by a deep commitment to continually strengthen Chester County.
