The Hostos Community College Swimming Pool is a six-lane, 25-yard facility equipped with starting blocks. The pool depth ranges from 3.8 feet to 12.6 feet.
Practice Schedule:
- Monday: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
- Wednesday: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
- Friday: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Transportation
By Subway: Take the 2, 4, or 5 train to 149th St / Grand Concourse. Walk south less than a block to 450 Grand Concourse.
By Bus: The Bx1, Bx2, and Bx19 stop at 149th St / Grand Concourse.
Pool Entry Requirements
- Enter the building and check in with security.
- The pool is located on the first floor at the back left side of the building.
- Access the pool through the back of the locker rooms.
Baruch College

The Baruch College Swimming Pool is a six-lane, 25-meter facility, opened in 2002. It is located on the lowest level of the Arc Athletic Center within Baruch’s Vertical Campus.
Practice Schedule: Note that Baruch College will be closed for renovations and maintenance for approximately 18 months starting Feb 26, 2025.
- Monday: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
- Tuesday: 6:30 am to 8:00 am
- Wednesday: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
- Thursday: 6:30 am to 8:00 am
- Saturday: 7 am to 8:30 am
By Subway:
- Take the 6, N, W, F, V, 1, or 9 train to 23rd Street.
- Walk east to Lexington Avenue, then turn left.
- Walk one block north to 55 Lexington Avenue (corner of East 24th Street).
Pool Entry Requirements
- All swimmers must sign in with security before accessing the facility.
