Discover why Smoky Hill Sharks has been everyone’s favorite summer swim team for over 40 years!
The Smoky Hill Sharks remain the only organized community athletic activity in the Smoky Hill Metro District. We are a summer program located at 5405 S. Telluride St., Centennial, Colorado 80015 (Telluride is between Smoky Hill Road and Orchard Road).
We strive to build an environment that helps athletes learn about who they are and how to grow into the person and swimmer they want to be. We are dedicated to having fun over the summer, while still challenging ourselves to grow. It is the mission of the Smoky Hill Sharks to provide an opportunity for young people to develop swimming skills and gain positive competitive swimming experience.
Swimming, especially competitive swimming, offers numerous benefits for children such as building self-esteem, teamwork and physical conditioning. Children can develop skills and set goals with which they are comfortable and achievable.
The Smoky Hill Sharks aim to build confident, well-rounded swimmers with strong technique in each of the four strokes. Summer swim team is highly recommended by coaches and trainers as a cross-training activity beneficial to any athletic discipline. Our program is one of the most affordable and offers the most practice opportunities in the South Metro area.
