Team Manager is a new trial position on the team for the 2025 season. The Team Manager is a key support role for the coaching staff and Board of Directors throughout the summer swim season. This individual will assist with team operations, event planning, and communications to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for swimmers and families. While the Team Manager is part of the coaching staff, this role does not involve direct coaching duties.

Responsibilities:

Support the coaching staff and Board of Directors with administrative and logistical tasks.

  • Help plan and coordinate Friday Fun Nights, including activities and themes.
  • Assist coaches in organizing and executing Saturday Meet Themes to enhance team spirit.
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors and Award Lead to manage awards, update the award board, and assist with weekly swimmer acknowledgments.
  • Assist with team social media updates and communications.
  • Help with miscellaneous tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day team operations.
  • Assist coaches and Board of Directors with End of Season banquet and awards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both on-site at the pool and remotely as needed.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to collaborate with coaches, board members, and swimmers.
  • Prior experience in event planning, team management, or youth sports is a plus.
  • Not required to be an active swimmer on the team.

Commitment:

  • Part-time role with a mix of on-site (practices, meets, events) and remote work.
  • Available throughout the swim season (May 19 – July 11).

Requirements:

  • Must be over the age of 15 years old on June 1st.
  • Available every Friday Fun Night.
