Coaching Staff
Kaylene Darbee
Kaylene is a junior at Saginaw Valley State University and has swam competitively for the last 15 years. She is currently on the Women's Swimming & Diving team with Saginaw Valley State University. Kaylene also teaches private swim lessons to children of all ages during her summers. She is lifeguard and CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross.
Graysen Koscielski
Graysen is a sophomore at Saginaw Valley State University studying business with a minor in Marketing. She has been swimming competively for 15 years. Graysen's favorite event is the 500 Freestyle! Over the last couple of years, she has been coaching kids of all ages during her summers and helping them to get comfortable in the water. Graysen is so excited to continue to share her love of swimming with the next generation of competitive swimmers!
João Nogueira
Joao is an international senior undergraduate swimmer at SVSU. He's been swimming since the age of 6 and has been competing for more than 10 years now. Joao holds a couple age-group state records and claimed a bronze medal in the 2019 Brazilian National Championships. He's majoring in exercise science with a minor in athletic coaching and he pursues to be a great swimming coach in the future.
Sibi Raj
Sibi is currently a senior at Saginaw Valley State University and graduated from Farmington High School in 2021. He is on the Men's Swimming & Diving team at Saginaw Valley State University and has swam competitively for 15 years and has acquired many awards throughout this time, including being an All-American. Sibi is excited to continue this winning tradition and helping other swimmers to be the best they can be; both in and out of the pool!
Cali Ziegelmann
Cali is a freshman at Saginaw Valley State University and a graduate of John Glenn High School. She has been swimming for 8 years with the John Glenn High School Varsity Swim Team and Bay City Aquatics Club in her off season. Cali has experience interacting with athletes and assisted in coaching the Christa McAuliffe Middle School swim teams. Cali is excited to engage with our future swimmers!
Addy Begres
Addy is a senior at John Glenn High School and has swam competitively for the last 10 years, 7 years with Bay City Aquatics! She volunteers with the Middle School boys and girls swim teams and is very excited to be a part of this the Bay City Aquatics Coaching Staff! She's looking forward to coaching these amazing swimmers!
Jayna Darbee
Jayna is a senior at John Glenn High School and has swam competitively for the last 10 years. She swims for JGHS and also teaches swim lessons during the summer to children of all ages. She is excited to get more involved with Bay City Aquatics!
Evie DeLeon
Evie is a senior at John Glenn High School and has been on the girls varsity swim team for 4 years. She swam competitively for Bay Aquatics Club for 6 years and Midland Dow Dolphins for 2 years. Evie is a lifeguard and CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross.
