Richard Bennetts III Head Coach
The 2025-2026 season is Rich’s 28th year coaching FFYS.  His swimming experience includes 15 years of USS/Club, 6 years of high school, 1 year of college and 2 years of Masters.  Rich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998 from Arizona State University and earned another Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2010.

Matt Zavislak Head Age-Group Coach

The 2025-26 swim season is Matt’s 14th year coaching for FFYS. Matt is a former Stingray and was a competitive swimmer for 14 years, four of those years for Eastern Michigan University. Matt helped EMU capture three Mid-American Conference Titles in four seasons. Matt excelled as a freestyler at both the college and YMCA national level. Matt was also a record holder for many years while swimming for FFYS and EMU.  You can still find his name on the record board at the YMCA!

The 2025-26 swim season is Kellen's 4th year coaching for FFYS. Kellen was a competitive swimmer for seven years, beginning when he was in high school. Kellen specialized in breaststroke and sprinting freestyle.

Amanda Alsobrooks Assistant Coach
 

The 2025-26 swim season is Mandy's 3rd year coaching for FFYS.  Mandy was a competitive for fifteen years and specialized in sprint freestyle in college.

Erin Sanders Assistant Coach
 

The 2025-26 swim season is Erin's 2nd year coaching for FFYS. Erin began her swimming career as a Stingray in 2008 and continued swimming with the Stingrays even as an alumni.  Erin swam in high school and college, recently graduating from the University of Olivet with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Environmental Science.  Erin's best events are the 200 fly, 100 breaststroke, and 200 individual medley.  Erin is looking forward to working with everyone and having an amazing season!
