Dear Parents,

Championship SWIM season is on the horizon! It begins this weekend in Indianapolis and continues February 7-9 at the Eastern Clusters Championship, February 15 at the 8 & Under State Meet, and February 21-23 at the 9 & Up YMCA State Championship Meet. There will be a LOT more information to come, but for now, it's Championship t-shirt time! If you would like to order a t-shirt for your swimmer or swim fans in your life, please act now. T-shirts are Gildan softstyle unisex, black, $17 each or $19 for 2XL.

Jen Birmelin, our merchandise Booster, needs your order by January 21 at 11:00 P.M. so that we have them in hand before these meets. We plan to wear these shirts for all three championship meets!

Please note that every FFYS swimmer who is swimming at Clusters will be receiving ONE FFYS silicone Championship cap (at no cost to you).

MEET UPDATE

2025 Circle City Classic Invitational - January 24-26, 2025 in Indianapolis, IN

LCSC Polar Plunge - January 31-February 2 at the Livonia Rec Center

Flint 50s - February 2 - Location TBD

This is a YMCA meet. All swimmers should swim this meet! Registration will open soon.

YMCA EASTERN CLUSTERS - February 7, 8, and 9, 2025

This meet is OPEN for Registration and the Volunteer Signup is OPEN too! All swimmers who have met or will be meeting the THREE meet minimum requirement are qualified to qualify to swim at this Championship Meet! ALL parents are required to volunteer for TWO sessions at this meet whether or not your swimmer is swimming.

YMCA 8 & UNDER STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS - February 15, 2025 - Waterford Kettering HS

Parents of 8 & Under Swimmers: There are no time standards for this meet. If your swimmer has met the 3-meet minimum requirement, your swimmer is invited and should swim at this meet! It is conveniently being held nearby and it is a single day meet. More information coming soon!

YMCA 9 & OVER STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS - February 22 -23, 2025 - Saginaw Valley State University

Parents of 9 & Over Swimmers: If your swimmer has met the 3-meet minimum requirement, and has met the qualifying time standards, your swimmer gets to swim at this meet! We have reserved a block of hotel rooms nearby, please see the Hotel Information tab on our website, or click on the link below. More information coming soon!

YMCA ZONES - March 15-17, 2025 - Bowling Green State University

If your swimmer has met any time standards at all or is potentially part of a relay team with a zone cut, plan to attend this meet! More information coming soon!
