Dear Stingray Parents and Swimmers,

Congratulations to Mark H. and Luke S. for an outstanding performance at YMCA Nationals!  They swam many personal best times.  Way to go boys!  

We are ONE WEEK away from Spring Tune Up!  Spring Tune-Up runs April 14 - May 23.  These sessions run in a similar manner to our fall/winter practice groups.  Please invite friends and neighbors, this is a great time to join the team!  Evaluations are required for new swimmers and a Y membership is also required. FALL/WINTER SHORT COURSE BANQUET

Please join us on Thursday, April 17th at 5:30 P.M. at the St. Mary’s Cultural Center,  18100 Merriman, in Livonia, to celebrate another fabulous swim season!  Parents, guardians and siblings are welcome.  There is no charge for swimmers, all non-swimmers are $30 per person.  Please no unattended swimmers under the age of 13.  Please check your email for more information.

Looking ahead…

SUMMER LONG COURSE

The Summer Long Course session will begin after Memorial Day and run through the end of July.  This session will also have our five traditional practice groups. The Miniray, Bronze and Silver groups will train in the evenings at the YMCA. Gold and Senior groups will train in the evenings at North Farmington until school is out, and then they will most likely have their primary training at Botsford pool in the early mornings.

AUGUST CLINIC

For the month of August, there will be another clinic, much like the March Clinic.

FALL/WINTER SHORT COURSE SEASON

We will have our FFYS Short Course parent informational meeting at the end of August at the YMCA. Evaluations for group placements will be in early September.
