Stingray Newsletter - August 17, 2025
Dear Stingray Parents,
This could be the last Stingray email you receive! Don’t let that happen! Very soon the 2024-2025 swim season will roll over to the 2025-2026 season and you will need to re-register with the Boosters to continue to get up-to-the-minute team news, practice updates, meet information, and social event notices.
Here’s what you need to know:
The 2025-26 Short Course Season Parent Information Meeting will be Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 P.M. at the Farmington YMCA. Please plan on attending! Bring a friend. We all need swim in our lives!
There are three steps to register your swimmer(s) for the 2025-2026 season.
Step 1: Click here to register for the Boosters for the fall season. Do this first!
Step 2: If necessary, join, re-join,activate, reactivate, or unsuspend your Y membership.
Step 3: IF YOU ALREADY KNOW YOUR PRACTICE GROUP, you can sign up for your group through the YMCA.
If you do NOT yet know your practice group or if your swimmer is trying out for a different practice group, please attend evaluations before you register at the YMCA. These will be held on September 3, 4, 5. You only need to attend ONE evaluation day. Evaluations are for ALL new swimmers, as well as returning swimmers who wish to try out for a different practice group.
You MUST have a Y membership, sign up with the YMCA swim team program, AND register with the Boosters online to start practices. More information about this will be available at the Parent Meeting on August 27th!
