Welcome to Group Swim Lessons at the Jenison HS Aquatic Center!
JPS Swim School is for those who feel confident in their ability to swim 25 yards (ages 8 & under) or 50 yards (ages 9-14), and who may be interested in joining the Jenison Age Group competitive swim team. The JPS Swim School will focus on prepping the swimmer for a single age group swim meet (if the swimmer is ready). These are not your typical swim lessons, as they are geared toward giving your swimmer a taste of what being on the swim team is all about without the full season commitment.
Swimmers 8 years old & under will focus on the skills necessary to complete the 25-yard freestyle and backstroke races. Swimmers 9-14 years old will focus on the skills necessary to complete the 50-yard freestyle and backstroke races. Our hope is that your child will give JPS Swim School a try, fall in love with the sport, and join us for the next season of our Jenison Age Group competitive swim team.
