SAVE THE DATES - 

Dec 7 - Deadline to register for the Narwhal Swim Meet 

Dec 13 - Narwhal Swim Meet - HOST 

Dec 14 - Deadline to register for the Superior Meet (out Mon/Tues)

Dec 20 - Superior Swim Meet - HOST

Dec 28 - Deadline to register for Shark HOST Meet (out Mon/Tues)

 

MEETS - 

Meets are coming fast and furious this month during the holiday season.  

Dates are above for the deadlines for these meets (ALWAYS  Sunday night!!).  Late entries will NOT be accepted after the deadline.

I did not get a chance to get our meet out last week.  No, you're not missing it.  I will do my best after I return to get the Jan 3rd meet sent out in th next few days.    

 

SUPERIOR MEET - Chase for the Cane

This meet will start at 10:00am and could possibly be done by noon or early afternoon.  This is a RELAY meet so you will be committing to this meet with a YES or NO.  Swimmers do NOT get to pick events for this meet.  Each swimmer will be assigned 4-5 relays to swim at this meet.  YES, this is different from our normal meets but is a TON of fun!!

If you are considering the Superior meet on Dec 20th - start looking at booking your hotel, IF you plan to stay overnight.  Due to the season and Bentlyville, I am not able to secure a block of rooms at a hotel.  Many have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express or the Hampton Inn in Superior.  

The Superior Meet Invite will be coming out probably Monday or Tuesday nights, once I return.  Depending on if you are traveling up on Friday night or staying on Saturday night, we will make a plan of meeting at the entrance of Bentlyville at 6:30pm each night, tentatively.  This way the swimmers know when other families will be there.   

 

HOLIDAYS - The following dates there will be NO PRACTICE'S - 

Dec 23 - YMCA closes at 12:00pm

Dec 24 - YMCA Closed

Dec 31 - YMCA hours - 7:00am - 5:00pm

Jan 1 -  YMCA hours - 7:00am - 5:00pm
