Friday Night Highlights at Holiday Invite

Friday night got started with a bang as Nicky Chavez set a new team record in the 400 IM with a 4:20.14, breaking the record of 4:22.40 set by Thomas Brierley in 2013. 

Other Highlights were a first place finish in the 11-12 200 IM by Evelyn Rizzo, a first place finish in the 9-10 200 free by Maya Saifullah,  a second place finish in the 11-12 200 free by Raegin Poitras, a second place finish by Heidi Rizzo in the 13-14 500 free, and a third place finish in the 9-10 200 IM by Alani Janota.

11-12 200 free - 2nd Raegin Poitras, 13th Novella Dunham and for the boys 9th Rex Doerfler, 11th Henry Sullivan

13-14 500 free - 2nd Heidi Rizzo, 12th Avienne O’Shea, 13th Mia Milazzo and boys 8th Aidan Menu

Open 500 free - 5th Daisy Pitches and boys 14th Liam Knight

At the end of the night, the girls were in third place and the boys in eighth. Keep it up, Hurricanes!
