Sunday Night did not disappoint!! We saw another team record broken by Daisy Pitches in the 200 back with a time of 2:08.11 (breaking her old record of 2:08.48 set in January) and another Y National qualifying time by Nick Chavez in the 50 free with a blazing 21.91! We also had a few first place finishes with Lizzie Daniels winning the open 100 breast and Raegin Poitras winning the 11-12 50 fly and 100 IM! Saturday morning session saw GREAT swims with lots of personal bests! We even had Avienne O’Shea in a thrilling seimm-off for 8th place in the 100 free. Although she did not win that, she won in that she took a half second off the best time she swam in prelims!! AND gets to come back and swim in the B final. Great swimming, Avienne! Congrats to these Hurricane swimmers on their All County Awards for Cross Country last night . Jasper Samuelson and Evelyn Rizzo earned All County and Liam Knight earned All Academic All County.
