HUDSON VALLEY DOLPHINS

Interested in supporting the Hudson Valley Dolphins Swim Team, a non-profit, in providing opportunities to local swimmers of all ages to practice and compete in their sport while also experiencing the comradery of being part of a team? 
Introducing a New Dolphins Donor Recognition Program!
The two-tiered program recognizes any size donation to the team from either individuals or businesses.  All donors will be acknowledged in the Dolphin’s monthly newsletter and with a donation of $250 and greater, a business will be able to have their logo hyper-linked to their website on the Dolphins homepage for the current swim season.
Pool rentals and related costs have increased tremendously in the past few years. These donations will go directly towards the operational costs of the team in order to try and keep training group fees from increasing, maintaining the affordability of the team, and making swimming more accessible to families.
The Hudson Valley Dolphins are a 501c (3) not-for-profit organization with a completely volunteer Board of Directors and donations to the team can be tax deductible (check with your tax advisor).
As a thanks for your donation, you will receive a Thank You letter from the team (for your tax purposes) and be listed as a “Dolphin Donor” in the Team’s Monthly Newsletter.
Dolphin Donor Levels:
POD:  Any donation makes you part of the “Pod”, part of the Dolphin family.  For Donations up to $249 you will be thanked by having your name or business listed in the Monthly Newsletter for the season.
PATRON:  For donations greater than $250 you or your business will be listed in both the Monthly Newsletter AND our Website’s Homepage in the Patron Section.  For a business, the team will include your Name, Logo, or Business Card on the Newsletter and Homepage with a link to your Business’s URL for the season.
Pod Donors and Patron Donors will also be thanked on a slide at the End of the Season Team Breakfast.
Donation Instructions:
Please fill out the Dolphins Donation Form.pdf and send to  [email protected]  along with payment (instructions for payment by Check or Venmo are in the form). 
In the form you can choose under what name you would like to be recognized: 
  1. Your Name
  2.  Alternate Name (e.g. “The Smith Family”, etc.)
  3.  Business Name
  4. Anonymous (name will not be listed on website or Newsletter).
When Payment and Form are received, the Dolphins will send a Thank You Letter for your records and taxes.
 
If you are an IBM Employee (or know one, please let them know), IBMers can give a donation to the Hudson Valley Dolphins through IBM Impact (IBM Giving and Volunteerism Portal) at the following URL:   https://ibm.benevity.org
This is a program that turns IBMers Volunteer Hours into cash to donate to Charitable Organizations of their choosing as well as make any other donations.
When you log into the site with your workplace credentials, you can then search on "Hudson Valley Dolphins" on the homepage:
You will find our organization listed as “Dolphin Swim Club of the Hudson Valley, Inc.” and can hit the "Donate Now" button.  Donations will be sent directly to the Dolphins and our Treasurer will be notified of the transaction with receipts.
