We want swimmers to reach their highest personal potential as both a person and an athlete, and develop a love for the sport.

Our team is committed and dedicated to providing an environment for our swimmers that allows them the freedom to fully develop their human and competitive swimming potential where excellence in swimming is valued and the pursuit of excellence is the standard.

The goal of our coaching staff is to guide our athletes toward the maximum development of their ability. We encourage swimmers to become well rounded and courageous in the face of a challenge, in the hopes they become the leaders of tomorrow. We coach our swimmers to seek development in all competitive strokes and events offered by USA Swimming and view development of world class swimmers as a long-term operation, that is, small changes add up to major principles. 

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is the backbone of the Havre Lions Swim Team, and is run by parent volunteers. We not only advise the coaches as necessary for the betterment of our team, but also manage the finances, meet sanctions, fundraising, and all the little things that lead to the success of our swimmers and our team.
