We have several forms of communication available to get timely and important information to you:

1. Website - Please check our website often, as we keep it up to date with the latest team information and updates.  We have a lot of educational information for you and your swimmer.

2. EmailWe send Meet Entry information, practice changes, announcements, news, and more through our team e-mail system on a regular basis. Make sure you are subscribed and verify your email address with the website to get updates!

3. Newsletter - The MAC Newsletters are regularly sent out through email.

4. Social Media - Check us out on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

5. Text Alerts - (must be set up through your secure, logged-in website account at www.macmsla.org) Members who have "verified" their SMS cell phone numbers in their team account setup can receive text messages. Swimmers can also receive text alerts by group if they are set up under their member account.  All Senior swimmers should have their cell numbers entered and "verified."  Parents should enter their own text number under their swimmers' names for younger swimmers so information can be sent by roster groups.

Instructions to setup text receiving capabilities:

  1. To add an SMS number to an account (parents' main account):
  2. Sign In
  3. Go to Team Admin > Account/Member Admin tab
  4. Search for and click the name for whom you would like to add a cell number
  5. You will see a box for "Email and Text Messaging Setup." Click the Add SMS button to the right of the box
  6. A new pop-up screen will appear and allow you to enter the Cell Number and Cell Carrier.  Fill in and hit the OK button.
  7. The cell number will appear in the box.
  8. The account holder will then need to do the following:
  9. Sign In
  10. Go to My Account > My Account
  11. In the "Email and Text Messaging Setup" box, click the cell number you added and click the Verify button.
  12. A pop up will say that a text has been sent to the cell number for verification.
  13. Check your cell phone for this message and note the Verification/Validation code. Note that some cell carriers may take a while to deliver the message.
  14. Enter this number in the "Verification Code" field and click VerifyThis MUST be done for the number to be activated for use through OnDeck
  15. The cell number will appear in the box with the "Verified" checkbox checked

To add an SMS number to a member (swimmers, coaches & officials):

  1. Sign In
  2. Go to Team Admin > Account/Member Admin > Members tab
  3. Search for and click the name for whom you would like to add a cell number
  4. You will see a box for "Email and Text Messaging Setup." Click the Add SMS button to the right of the box (parents can enter their cell number for younger swimmers)
  5. A new pop-up screen will appear and allow you to enter the Cell Number and Cell Carrier.  Fill in and hit the Send button
  6. A pop-up will notify you that a text has been sent to the cell number for verification
  7. Have the account holder check their cell phone for this message and let you know the Verification / Validation code. Note that some cell carriers may take a while to deliver the message.
  8. Enter the code in the "Verification Code" field and click VerifyThis MUST be done for the number to be activated for use through OnDeck.
  9. The cell number will appear in the box with the "Verified" checkbox checked.
