Blue
$90/month*
Blue swimmers will continue to develop stroke and technique as well as introducing training skills. The focus of this group is to increase efficiency in freestyle and backstroke, while still learning fundamentals of breaststroke and butterfly and becoming more proficient in these strokes. There will be a large emphasis on developing a strong and consistent kick for all four strokes. Swimmers will receive basic instruction for racing starts and turns. Practices will be educational, and swimmers will have fun. When leaving this group swimmers will typically move to Bronze.
Age Group: 12 and under
Practice Time: 45 minutes
Practice Yardage: up to 1000 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, mesh bag, water bottle, suit, and team cap

Bronze

Practice Yardage: up to 1500 yards

Silver swimmers will continue the development of proper stroke mechanics for all strokes, as well as starts and turns. There will be an introduction to higher levels of competition. There will continue to be a large emphasis on developing a strong and consistent kick for all four strokes, as well as beginning to incorporate the underwater dolphin kick. Swimmers will learn the basics of training. When leaving this group swimmers will typically move to Gold.
Age Group: 12 and under
Practice Time: 60 minutes
Practice Yardage: up to 2000 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, mesh bag, water bottle, suit, and team cap

Gold swimmers will continue the development of proper stroke mechanics for all strokes, as well as starts and turns. There will continue to be a large emphasis on developing a strong and consistent kick for all four strokes. Swimmers will incorporate the underwater dolphin kick. All previous instruction will be continued and advanced. Dryland will become a more integral part of training. Swimmers will learn to train, as well as be expected to compete in all events offered in their age group. When leaving this group swimmers will typically move to Platinum or Pre-competition.

Practice Yardage: up to 3000 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, snorkel, mesh bag, water bottle, suit, and team cap

Platinum

Platinum swimmers will begin to master technique in all four strokes. They will also begin to master the underwater dolphin kick. Swimmers will train to train, learning about energy systems and corresponding heart rate work. Swimmers will begin to work more with a race strategy. Dryland will become an integral part of training. Athletes will be expected to compete in all events offered in their age group and will be prepared for a successful transition into elite level senior swimming. When leaving this group swimmers will typically move to Varsity and National level group.
Age Group: 11-14
Practice time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Practice yardage: 2,000 – 4,000 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, pull buoy snorkel, mesh bag, water bottle, suit, and team cap

Junior (Previously known as Pre-Comp)

The Pre-Competition group is designed for swimmers looking to prepare for the high school swimming season or gain initial experience in competitive swimming before making a year-round commitment. The goal is to develop the fundamentals of all 4 competitive strokes, refine starts and turns, and improve overall conditioning.
Age Group: 13-18
Practice time: 1 hour
Practice yardage: 1500 – 3000 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, paddles and pull buoy, water bottle, mesh bag, suit, and team cap.
Recommended Attendance for Success: Swimmers are recommended to attend as many practices as possible of the 4 practices each week.
Fundraising Minimum Requirement: $150/year
Varsity
$180/month*
This group is geared towards two groups of swimmers: those trying to improve for high school season on a year-round basis, and those who are working to achieve National group requirements. This group will begin to master technique in all four strokes. They will also begin to master the underwater dolphin kick. Swimmers will train to train, learning about energy systems and corresponding heart rate work. Swimmers will begin to work more with race strategy. If the swimmer wants to challenge himself more and achieve more than high school swimming, he may decide to move up to the National Development group.
Age Group: 15-19
Practice time: 1 1/2 hours
Practice yardage: 3,000 – 5,500 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, paddles and pull buoy, snorkel, water bottle, mesh bag, suit, and team cap.
Recommended Attendance for Success: 4 of 6 practices each week (there are NO practice requirements for this group)

National Development
$215/month*
National development is designed with the intention of providing the curriculum and atmosphere necessary for success at all levels of national competition. Athletes that meet the criteria will be invited into the group but not all athletes will choose to be in the group. The national development athlete has a strong desire to improve, is looking to compete at a higher level than they are currently at, is thoroughly committed, and has a recent, proven track record of consistency. This group will be required to attend twice a week a strength and conditioning program. Both swimming and dryland will be rigorous, challenging, and are only for the most committed athlete.
Age Group: 15-19
Practice time: 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours
Practice yardage: 4,000 – 8,000 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, paddles and pull buoy, snorkel, water bottle, mesh bag, suit, and team cap.
Recommended Attendance for Success: Will be required 7 to 9 practices per week. Occasional exceptions for illness or outside commitments may be made.

Masters/Adult Learn to Swim Class
Age: 18 and over

College Swim Program
$150
College swimmers wishing to participate in our program during the summer months.
Practice time: 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours
Practice yardage: 5,000 – 7,500 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, paddles and pull buoy, snorkel, water bottle, mesh bag, suit, and team cap.
High School Clinic
$250 for 6-week session
The High School Prep group is a clinic for swimmers looking to prepare for the upcoming high school season. Each session is 6 weeks. The goal is to refine starts and turns and improve overall conditioning.
Age Group: 14-18
Practice time: 1 hour
Practice yardage: 1500 – 3000 yards
Equipment: fins, kickboard, paddles and pull buoy, water bottle, mesh bag, suit, and team cap
Recommended Attendance for Success: Swimmers are recommended to attend as many practices as possible of the 3 practices each week.
