Hello FAST Families!

Here are some key notes as we get back in the water…

1. 2023-2024 Registration is OPEN! 
   All swimmers have to be registered USA Swimming members, which must be done at USASwimming.org. You can select Premium $76 (full member benefits) or Flex $30 (12 & Under Athletes only; permitted to only swim two (2) meets below LSC championship meet) memberships on the USA Swimming Website. Outreach memberships are also available - email Coach Shane [email protected] for more information. 
2. All members pay a YMCA swim league fee of $10.00 in the fall/winter at registration.
3. FAST has a team membership fee of $20/season.
4. All swimmers must be members of the Fremont Family YMCA.
5. Rates for each group
   1. Bronze = $40/month
   2. Silver = $50/month
   3. Gold = $80/month
   4. Senior = $105/month
6. FAST membership is special because our dual affiliation with USA Swimming and the YMCA offers two options to our swimmers - USA and YMCA Meets. USA meets have entry fees and some meets have time standards to qualify. USA meets often occur over the course of several days.
   YMCA meets often have no entry fee or time standards to qualify. YMCA meets are usually held on a single day (Saturdays). Additionally, FAST competes in the East Husker Rec League during the summer. Rec League meets are free to attend and occur on weekday evenings or Saturdays in June and July.
7. Practice Schedules
   Fall/Winter Practice Schedule
   All groups: M/W/F morning 5:30-6:45am
   Gold/Senior/High School Prep = M-Th 4:00-5:30pm (Ends Nov. 13)
   Silver = M-Th 6:00-7:30pm
   Bronze = M-Th 6:00-7:15pm
8. Meet schedule is posted and is subject to change. Please commit as you are able.
