Thank you for your interest in Heartland Aquatics! HLA is a year round, competitive swim team that provides opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Register: Coming Spring 2026 New Swimmer Night Flyer: Coming Spring 2026 For more information please email membership@heartlandaquatics.org WHAT TO EXPECT AT NEW SWIMMER NIGHT We will start all together to welcome you, introduce the coaches and board members, and give you a little information about the team. Then swimmers will leave with coaches and head down to the pool for their assessment. Parents will stick around for a short meeting and then be able to head to the pool stands to watch their swimmers. After the assessment, your swimmer will talk to the coaches and they will be given an assessment card with their practice group placement or more information regarding club swim team readiness! WHAT YOUR SWIMMER SHOULD BRING Swimmers come ready to get into the pool. Caps, goggles, and suits on! Swimmers will get in the water for a short assessment of their skills and then be given a potential group placement. For minimum requirements and entrance into our ThunderShark group, click here. WHAT PARENTS NEED TO BRING Please COMPLETE the online registration (Coming Spring 2026). Each swimmer must have their own registration. If your swimmer is transferring from another team and is currently registered with USA swimming, please contact our membership coordinator directly to make arrangements for a trial period.([email protected] ) Our high school navy/gold group is full.
