The Goldsboro Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization committed its mission "to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all."  

The Y is made up of people of all ages and from every walk of life working side by side to strengthen our community. YMCA staff and volunteers work together to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, age, cultural background, ethnicity, faith, gender, gender identity, ideology, income, national origin, race or sexual orientation has the opportunity to reach their full potential with dignity. Our core values-caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith — guide everything we do. 

The YMCA strives to turn no one away due to financial hardship or the inability to pay appointed fees, provided there is registration space available in a given program or schedule.
