Coaches and Directors
Kevin joined the Aqua-Dog staff in 2016. Prior to being with us, he coached with the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins in Virginia. He began coaching with CGBD part time in 2008 before being brought on full time in 2010. In his time with the CGBD, Kevin served as Asst. Head Age Group Coach, Head Age Group Coach, and most recently as the Head Senior Coach. During his time with the CGBD, his swimmers consistently placed at the top of their region and state meets. Kevin’s swimmers have set numerous team records and Virginia Swimming records and they have gone on to qualify for Sectionals and Junior Nationals. Kevin also assisted with the development and training of the CGBD Olympic Trials qualifiers in 2012 and 2016 and was chosen to be part of the 2015 ASCA Fellows class. Kevin also has experience coaching summer league teams and high school teams. Along with his coaching experience, Kevin is also a Wingate University alumnus (2010) and was a member of the Wingate University Men's Swim Team all four years. While at Wingate, Kevin was an All-BGMC swimmer and Academic All-American swimmer while earning a BS in Environmental Biology with a minor in Psychology.
This is Elizabeth's first year with the Aqua-Dogs. Originally from Atlanta, Ga she is currently serving as a Graduate Assistant for Wingate University's Men's and Women's Swim Team. Since 2014 she has served as the Head Coach for her summer league team in Atlanta and has been giving private swim lessons to multiple age groups since 2012. She recently graduated from Wingate University in May 2019 earning her a BS in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. While at Wingate University, she was a member of the swim team for all four years and was voted Team Captain for the Women's Swim Team her Senior year.
This is Evan's first year with the Aqua-Dogs. Coming from Lancaster, Pennsylavnia he is currently serving as Graduate Assistant for the Men's and Women's Swim Team at Wingate University. He spent the summers of 2017-2019 as Assistant Head Coach of the Bent Creek Barracudas, a summer swim team. During the 2017-2018 season, he was one of the Assistant Coaches on the Chambersburg Trojans High School staff. Evan graduated from Shippensburg University in 2019 where he was a member of the swim team for all four years. He earned a BS in Mathematics with a Concentration in Secondary Education as well as a minor in Coaching. Evan is currently working towards a Master of Arts in Sport Managment here at Wingate University.
