Congratulations Bluefish! We have for been selected to attend the prestigious 2012 U.S.A. Swimming National Age Group Summit in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Team's are selected based on the Virtual Club Championship rankings. Only the top teams in the country have been chosen. The summit’s brings the nation’s top age group coaches together in an interactive forum to focus on performance and development of young swimmers. Christie will attend the summit Oct.25-28th. This is an excellent opportunity for both Christie and the Club! An achievement we can all be proud of!
USA Swimming's Scholastic All American Application is due Aug. 21st! The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event. To be eligible for this recognition, swimmers must have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade and must be a USA Swimming member athlete. Elizabeth Beisel to appear on NBC's Today Show Thursday, May 24th Olympians Brendan Hansen, Elizabeth Beisel and Maritza Correia will appear on NBC’s Today show on Thursday, May 24, to promote USA Swimming’s “Swim Today” campaign. There will be a total of 45 minutes of swimming-related content, including a pool fashion segment with Speedo, and pool party tips for the upcoming summer.
Welcome Chris Woolridge to the Bluefish coaching staff! His first day on deck was this morning! Chris will be working as a Senior Group coach and the head age group coach for Attleboro location!
