Parent/Swimmer apps for your phone

I'm sure as some of you know there are a few smartphone apps you can download to make things a little easier for you.

The first app is "OnDeck Parent" this app is a TeamUnify created app and allows you to view practices, time standards for USA swimming, any news posted up on the team site and even commit swimmers to meets/events right from the app. makes things super convenient.

All you have to do is log in with your normal TeamUnify account just like you do on our site, and enter 'nedhst' (all lowercase) as the Team Alias.

The next app, Deck Pass, is a little more in depth, as you will need an account with USA swimming in order to use it, but it has some awesome functions.

"Deck Pass" is almost a one stop for all times, events, your USA membership card, live results from meets, etc etc etc. This app is more for the kids than for the parents. As the Coaches we can actually award your swimmers "badges" for performing well at meets, practices, and team events. The swimmers can view these badges via the app, and also see what badges their friends are earning as well. USA swimming also awards badges for times swum and different challenges posted on the USA site.

To get this app you must register at USAswimming.com and link your account to your swimmer in their database. Really easy process, just enter your email and create a password, and then search for your swimmer using first name, last name, and team name (DHH)

Once you've linked your swimmer to your account, you can view everything listed above on the USAswimming website. The app just makes it more accessible. Download the app from your store, and then log in with your credentials.
