Swimming in the 100 back finals at the Super Sectional meet in Buffalo, NY Kellen Gray posted a time of 58.78 which qualifies him for the Summer Junior Nationals. His time was also a new team record and only .19 seconds off the Senior National cut.
Zach Bishop set two new team records at the Super Sectional meet in Buffalo, NY. His time of 4:49.37 broke the mark set by Connar Patterson last summer. He also set re-broke his own 200 fly record that he set the weekend before at New England Seniors with a time of 2:09.23.

Tony Min set the EST team record for 11-12 boys 50 meter free. His time this evening was 28.93 which broke the previous record of 29.81 set by Sam Fontaine in 2000.
Over the past two weeks EST swimmers have broken four team records. Meghan Gray set the first team record of the summer with her 800 meter free at the UCONN Senior Meet. Her time of 9:52.59 broke the previous record of 10:00.90 set by Isabel Reis in 2012. At the EST 12 & under meet, Tony Min set three team records. This past weekend EST sent a group of 24 swimmers to Beverly YMCA for a one day distance meet. Many of the swimmers were competing for the first time in a distance event and did an excellent job with the 400,800 and 1500 meter swims. Our biggest time drop of that day went to Katie Arend, who cut over two minutes from her previous 1500 time. The majority of the Exeter Swim Team completed its fall/winter season this past weekend at the NHSA Swimming Championships held at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center (UVAC) in Vermont. Teams from all over New Hampshire were in attendance and Exeter had a great showing with many winning performances, a couple of record breaking swims and a first place finish from the 12-under group. The Exeter Swim Team came home with a 16th place finish and numerous team records broken at the New England 12-Under Swimming Championships held last week at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center in White River Junction Vermont. Over 70 teams from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island attended the 3-day affair, which is the fastest end-of-season New England meet for swimmers from ages 8 through 12.
