GSCY Storm Athletes Compete at 2023 Phillips 66 National Championships: Anna Moesch Part of Team USA at Junior World Championships; Emily Thompson Makes 200M IM Olympic Trials Cut

The 2023 US National Championships were recently held in Indianapolis, and our very own GSCY Storm athletes were part of the action! Emily Thompson and Anna Moesch proudly represented our team, showcasing their talent along with the most elite athletes in our sport. Anna competed in the 200M Free, 100M Free and 50M Free, and Emily competed in the 400M IM and 200M IM.

Congratulations to Emily on making her 200M IM Olympic trials cut!  And congratulations to Anna as she has been selected to represent Team USA at the World Junior Championships in Netanya, Israel this September.

We also congratulate our two GSCY Storm alumni for securing their spots on the US World Championship team competing in Fukuoka, Japan later this month! Jack Alexy won the 100M Free, with a time of 47.93 in a nail-biting final where the first and fourth place finishers were separated by a mere 0.07 seconds. Matt Fallon won the 200M Breaststroke with a time of 2:07.71, the sixth-fastest time in US history.
