GSCY Storm Wins 2024 NJ YMCA State Championships, Marks Third Consecutive Championship Title

GSCY Storm swimmers showcased impressive swims at the NJ YMCA State Championships, winning the state championship title and sweeping the 13/O Men's, Women's and Combined Categories. With this year's state title, GSCY Storm is now the NJ YMCA State Champions for three years in a row! Congratulations, athletes!

12/U State Championships

With a nail-biting finish to the 12/U NJ YMCA State Championships, GSCY Storm ended in the leading position, with 1859.5 combined points, followed by Lakeland Hills YMCA with 1838.5 points and Greater Monmouth County YMCA with 1370.5 points. GSCY Storm opened the Sunday session in second place for the combined team score but was able to come out on top!

13/O State Championships

The 13/O Storm swimmers competed in Lancaster, PA this past weekend.  With the 12/U group giving our 13/O a lead going into the weekend, our 13/O never relinquished their standing. There were terrific swims all weekend, including the following events where our very own set meet records:
