Group Information

Group placement is determined by the coaches based on swimming ability as well as coachability, attendance, work ethic, and attitude. For all groups, top level behavior is of paramount importance. As a representative of this team, all team members are expected to demonstrate a great attitude toward the sport, teammates, coaches, and the pool staff at all times.

Neutron Bronze
The Neutron Bronze Group is for swimmers who can't quite make the requirements for the Bronze Group, but are still able to make it across the pool and listen to and follow instruction.
The aim of the Neutron Bronze Group is to gain the skills necessary to join the Bronze Group. While learning these skills, athletes are able to be a part of a team atmosphere and enhance self-confidence in the water by accomplishing the basics of freestyle and backstroke.

Neutrons
The Neutron Group is for entry level swimmers who can swim 25 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke. Swimmers are encouraged to swim 3 days a week.
The goals of the Neutron group are to enjoy swimming in a team environment, establish a lifelong love for swimming and to become proficient in all four competitive strokes.

Protons
The Protons primarily consists of swimmers that can swim all 4 strokes legally and are encouraged to swim 4 days a week.
The goals of the Age Group is to enjoy working out as part of a team, and establish goals such as knowing what their best times are in their favorite events.
Primary Coach: Coach Sean and Coach Danielle
Electrons
The Electrons are able to swim all 4 strokes and demonstrate coachability. This is the next stage in the progression of groups, along with swimmers who are cross-training with other sports and can't attend more than 3 practices a week.
Primary coach: Coach Maribeth
Practice Times for Electrons:
Monday-Friday 4:15 – 5:45 pm
Quarks
The Quarks are competitive swimmers who commit to attending at least 4 days a week and demonstrate coachability. This group is primarily made up of swimmers who do not do other sports.

Practice Times for Quarks:
Monday-Friday 4:15-6:15pm.
Masters Swimming
The Masters Group is dedicated to provide competitive level training and technique for adult Masters swimming from ages 18 to 103, for improved swimming skills, fitness, competition in Master’s swimming, Triathlons, Open Water, getting faster with better strokes, or just because it’s fun to work out with a group.
Workout Times: Mon, Wed, Fri, 6:00-7:00 am.
