The mission of Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is to promote a life-long love of swimming in swimmers of all ages and abilities by providing a safe, healthy and positive environment for our athletes. This will be achieved through a comprehensive training program that addresses the physical, mental, nutritional, and technical dimensions of the sport to support team and individual goals.

Welcome New Swimmers!

We are proud of the fact that Charger Aquatics Santa Fe is the only swim team in Santa Fe that is a recognized USA Swiming Swim lesson provider by the USA Swimming Foundation.

We offer private and small group instruction for swimmers of all ages and levels.

We will be launching our next session of group lessons in the new year. Sign-up will be through our Team-Unify platform.

Group Lessons follow our skill-specific swim curriculum. If you are unsure which level your swimmer is at please reach out to Coach Lee with questions.

 

Cost: We try to keep our lessons as affordable and accessible as possible. Lesson pricing is structured to cover the instructor's salary, lane rental, and lesson insurance. Lessons are provided in blocks of 8 sessions. Lessons are usually 30 minutes long.

Private Lessons: $240 per session (equivalent to $30/lesson)

Small group lessons: $160 per session (equivalent to $20/lesson)

 

Lesson Subsidy: Our lesson program has recently been selected as a recipient of a 2022 Youth Learn to Swim Grant. Once awarded, we will use these funds to help offset the cost of group lessons to make them as accessible as possible to the broader community. Please check back soon for more information.

Level 4:

-frog legs with board (5 yds)

Level 5:

-grab toy from underwater (at least 4 ft)

-streamline flutter kick (front) (frog arms to breathe) (25 yds)

-streamline flutter kick on back (25 yds)

-one arm backstroke (12.5 yds)

-body dolphin (arms at side) (5 yds)

-big arms (roll over to breathe) (12.5 yds)

-streamline frog legs (no board) (frog arms to breathe)(12.5 yds)

 

Level 6: (Jr Swim)

-develop backstroke more
