CROCOSAUR COMPETITIVE AGE GROUP
Description:
The BEAST Aquatics Competitive Age Group encompasses athletes who are dedicated to the sport of swimming at a young age and are interested in high-level development and competition. Swimmers build aerobic endurance, advance their stroke technique, and begin dryland training to increase their all-around athleticism. In this group, swimmers will begin to take personal responsibility for training during interval and test sets, race time awareness, goal setting and competitive race strategy formation.
Group Requirements:
- Must have New Mexico state qualifying times and be able to commit 4 to 5 days a week to practice
- Highly coachable attitude and personal commitment to training
- Ability to represent BEAST Aquatics on the state level through individual and team leadership

- Short fins
- Kickboard
- Pull-buoy
- Snorkel
- Water bottle
Schedule:
Practices are 90 minutes and offered 5 to 6 times a week.
