ELITE
 
Description:
Elite athletes are BEAST’s highest level athletes in pursuit of Senior Zones, Sectionals, Futures, or Jr. Nationals qualifying times. These elite athletes are highly motivated and exhibit personal commitment to their sport and their team. These athletes are expected to make a high percentage of practices, dryland strength training, and local/national level swim meets. Swimmers exhibit strong leadership and discipline skills in and out of the water. 
 
The Elite Sectionals and Nationals Team is highest level group of BEAST Aquatics. Athletes will continue to develop advanced stroke technique in combination with a complex training regimen. In addition to rigorous practices, an added emphasis on goal setting and mental training will be introduced. The goal of this group is to achieve success on a national level through personal responsibility, discipline, and commitment to the sport and the team.
 
Group Requirements:*
  • Approaching or already achieving sectional qualifying times
  • Highly coachable attitude and personal commitment to training
  • Ability to represent BEAST Aquatics on the national level through individual and team leadership
  • Test set 10 x 100s free on a 1:20 send off interval

*Movement to this training group is at the discretion of the coaching staff.

Schedule:
Practices are 120 minutes and offered 8-10 times a week, including dryland. Two-a-days are required.
