The 13-14 girl’s relay team of Andrea Felix, Kate Lee, Jami Hwang, and Lauren Vitort broke the SCS record in the 200 Medley at the recent Junior Olympic held at Golden West College. Their time of 1:47.60, beat the old SCS record of 1:47.74 from previous NOVA swimmers in 2003 “It’s really fun to be a part of this,” said Kate Lee “especially since it was such an exciting race. We only won it by .06.”

The 2014 edition of the Pacific Coast All-Star meet, a unique event that pits some of the best age-group swimmers from the four USA Swimming LSC’s that touch the Pacific Ocean: Southern California, Pacific Swimming, Oregon, and Pacific Northwest Swimming. The meet this year was held at Evergreen State College in a yards course. Day 2 of Junior Nationals In Greensboro was a recorded setting day for the Nova girls team. Courtney Mykkanen broke Hayley Piersol's 2002 team record in the 400 IM. Courtney swam a 4:17.31 breaking Hayley's 4:17.84 time. Then the relay team of Carly Perri, Brittany Kampfer, Meagan Popp and Courtney Mykannen broke the SCS and the Nova team record for the 15-16 girls 800 free relay.
