Blue Ash Swim Team Tryouts - Fall/Winter 2025-26
If your swimmer is interested in joining the Blue Ash YMCA Dolphins swim team, they must complete a tryout. This is required to join any of the BASH swim team groups, including the Age Groups, Senior Group, or our Dolphin Pre-competitive Group. To try out for the Fall/Winter season your swimmer must be at least 6 years old by September 1st.
Tryouts must be completed here at the Blue Ash YMCA with one of our coaches. Tryouts will be at the Blue Ash YMCA Ferris Building, located at: 5000 YMCA Drive, 45242.
Tryout slots will be brief, 15 minutes each, so come prepared to get in the water (suit, cap, and goggles). Your swimmer will be asked to show their competency with all 4 strokes. Based on what our coaches observe we will suggest the group or level of training appropriate for them.
We will use Sign-Up Genius to determine when your swimmer will attend tryouts. We will communicate with you via the email you provide, so please be on the lookout for further information, once your swimmer has completed their tryout.
