CAC Mini Meet Recap
Seahawk Families,
Over the weekend 31 Seahawks competed in our first Mini Meet of the season! Thank you to all of our parent and swimmer volunteers who made this possible! The meet started off with a costume parade, and a best costume contest, won by Penny Wyborn (Jellyfish), Mili Kieser (Grandma), Pranav & Misra Madhav (Mario & Luigi). It was awesome to see our Red 1 & 2 swimmers interacting with our Black 1 & 2 swimmers during the parade as they handed out goody bags, and during the meet as they cheered and helped the younger swimmers get to the blocks.
Overall the swimmers did amazing! For most of them this was their first USA swim meet experience, out of our 82 legal swims, 53 of them were first time swims. Out of our swims that did have seed times, we dropped 144.27 seconds! Fantastic job to all of our Seahawks who either tried something new, or beat their own personal best, or both!
