Jessi has been involved with swimming since she was 9 years old. She grew up swimming with Greater Columbus Swim Team of Ohio and Dynamo Swim Team. In highschool, she was an All American in 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, & 100 freestyle. Jessi continued swimming in college at Bowling Green State University for 2 years and transferred to the University of Cincinnati to complete her degree in Early Childhood Education.
Jessi’s coaching career began when she was 17 years old with a summer league team in Columbus. She continued coaching through college with Bowling Green Swim Club. After graduating college, she was the head coach for the Montgomery Makos and the Head Satellite Coach for the Cincinnati Marlins. She began coaching for the Marlins in 2015. She has worked with a variety of ages ranging from 4-18. Jessi is most experienced coaching the 14 & under age groups. She has coached numerous JO & Zone Qualifiers who have been individual & relay champions. Many of the swimmers she has coached have gone on to become NCSA, Sectional, ISCA, & Futures Qualifiers.
Her goal as a coach is to coach the whole athlete to be the best they can be in and out of water. She is very passionate about teaching proper technique and believe that swimming pretty and correctly comes before the speed. Jessi & her husband, Alex are parents to 4 energetic boys (Noah, Xander, Grayson, & Cooper). She enjoys watching Ohio State Football & collecting Rae Dunn mugs!
Lindsey grew up swimming in Boulder, Colorado and went on to study and compete at John Carroll University. At JCU she was a two-time captain, multiple event record holder and recipient of the conference-wide Clyde Lamb Award for athletics and academics. After graduation, Lindsey moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and began a four year coaching job with the TAC Titans. Over her four years with TAC she led a variety of different age groups and worked closely with both elite athletes and coaches. In 2020, Lindsey and her husband moved to Chicago, Illinois where she began coaching at New Trier Aquatics. While there she worked primarily with 12&U swimmers coaching multiple Illinois State and NCSA Age Group finalists. She recently moved (hopefully for the last time!) to Cincinnati and found a great coaching fit at CAC. Lindsey’s coaching philosophy centers on developing well-rounded athletes with a strong emphasis on technique and good habits. She believes swimming is a lifelong sport and is passionate about sharing her love for it with her athletes. When not at the pool, Lindsey enjoys hand-lettering, running, fantasy football, and exploring Cincinnati.

Coach Jessica has been in the water since she was 7 years old and never looked back. An Illinois native and starting her competitive swimming career in the Chicago- area, she stuck with swimming leading her to compete in high school and the club level nationally. She now currently swims for the University of Cincinnati focusing on sprint to mid- distance Freestyle (50, 100, 200). Jessica applies her past leadership experiences to her current roles. As a team captain the 2022-2023 school year, she was able to grow and utilize skills needed to be successful in and out of the pool. In her time at UC, she is proudly a 3- time AAC Conference finalist, AAC Runner- up in the 50-yard freestyle, 9- time AAC Championship Medalist, and a current school record holder in the 100 Individual Medley.
Starting her journey with Cincinnati Aquatic Club back in the Summer of 2021, Jessica has helped develop several swimmers as an assistant to many coaches in her time with CAC. During the school year, she is located at UC helping run practices, while assisting at CCDS in the Summer months. She is passionate about teaching and building relationships with her athletes. Jessica’s experience in the pool has allowed her to emphasize the importance of having fun in swimming; it has opened so many doors to opportunities and lessons gained through her years. She is excited to continue her time coaching at CAC.
Rob has been involved with CAC for well over a decade of his life. He’s been a swimmer at every level from summer-league through college, and he joined CAC in 1998. He was a Seahawk through 2007 before swimming at Miami University for 4 years on scholarship. Rob then continued his involvement in the sport by helping as a senior assistant coach for CAC in 2013, and he headed the University of Cincinnati Masters Swim team from 2012-2013. Since then, he’s stayed active with swimming by participating in some Masters meets, doing historical research for swimmeet.com, and teaching 2x Gold Medalist Zach Apple a card game at a Super Bowl Party.
He specializes in helping swimmers with their technique, as well as racing ability, and learned the loud whistle specifically for swim meets. In his free-time, Rob enjoys traveling to new cities, working out, watching sports with friends, and any board/card game put in front of him. He graduated Miami with a degree in Statistics, and has been a commercial real estate appraiser since 2015 with Jackson Advisory Group.
