My name is Lily Jones, and I am a swimmer for the University of Cincinnati. I am a health science
major, and hope to be a pharmacist someday! I swim the 100 and 200 backstroke, as well as the 500 and
200 free as my third and fourth events. This season, I was the AAC conference champion in the 200
backstroke with a time of 1:56.55, which earned me a an NCAA B cut and a school record. I placed third
in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.24, also a school record! I love swimming and thank my great
coaches and teammates throughout childhood for that. I grew up in Louisville, KY, swam for Triton
Swimming for almost 10 years, and was captain of my high school team, Eastern High School.

I have coached many age groups and skill levels since about 2019. I began coaching in the
summers for the Blairwood Barracudas, which eventually turned into a year-long program that I was
lucky to be a part of. In partnership, I also gave private and group lessons at Blairwood (now Genesis)
Health and Fitness Club to ages 1-17. Since relocating to Cincinnati, I am excited to get to know new
faces and be a mentor in a sport that I love.
