OSDC Champions Again

Over the weekend the Ohio State Diving Club captured USA Diving’s East National Championship for the third straight year.  The team scored highest in all three possible team categories (Men, Women and Overall Team) and divers Noah Duperre tied another diver for men’s high point, and Samantha Bromberg and Rachel Rubadue tied for first in women’s high point. Olivia Lynch, Noah Duperre, Samantha Bromberg, and Rachel Rubadue were named champions in an event in their age groups.  A notable moment at the meet came when the OSDC 16-18 girls swept the 1 meter springboard competition with first through fourth place finishes providing a perfect opportunity to show their spirit on the awards platform with a spirited O-H-I-O  (see photo).

The Ohio State Diving Club will continue its training with their next competition coming in June as they head to Iowa for the summer regionals competition.
