Rachel Rubadue scores a pair of top-six finishes at Pan American Sports Festival

               Rachel Rubadue (Worthington Kilbourne HS) was one of eight divers representing Team USA at the Pan American Sports Festival in Mexico City from September 27-30, and she placed in the top six in both her events.

                On Monday, Rubadue and Olivia Rosendahl (Los Angeles, Calif.) paired together for fourth place with 253.62 points in the women’s synchronized 10-meter event, which was won by Canadian Olympians Roseline Filion and Meaghan Benfeito with 294.33 points.

                In Saturday’s individual women’s 10-meter event, Rubadue advanced to the finals and placed sixth with 269.65 points. Canada’s Filion finished first at 358.80, edging Benfeito by 0.15 points for the gold.
