The Springfield Family YMCA Swim Team is a competitive program offering annual or seasonal participation. Our athletes participate in both YMCA and USA Swimming swim meets in order to offer local, regional and national level competition opportunities. Swimmers participate with groups according to their age, skills, and ability. Many qualities are developed through competitive swimming such as: physical conditioning, self-confidence, and sportsmanship character building and self-discipline.
