All swim team members are required to maintain a membersip with the Dallas Aquatic Center. Please refer to their website for membership options.

 

​Futures Novice

Age: 10 & Under

Ability: Swimmers will have the ability to swim 25 yards unassisted of 2 competitive strokes, and display a leal breaststroke kick

Attendance: 2 practices per week

Attitude/Maturity: Independent and eager to listen and learn from coaches

Objective: Learn how to be a team swimmer, lane etiquette. Master all 4 competitive strokes.

Equipment: Kickboard, Pull Buoy, Short Fins, Snorkel

Dues: $75 per month

Practice: MWF 4:30pm-5:30pm (pick 2)

Futures Advanced

Age: 12&Under

Ability: Swimmers will have the ability to swim 50 yards unassisted of 4 competitive strokes, and have achieved a legal time in each stroke in a sanctioned swim meet

Attendance: 3 practices per week

Attitude/Maturity: Have an “I can do it” attitude with attentiveness to coaches and teammates.

Objective: Continue to master all 4 strokes, while furthering other practice skills such as drills, intervals, and equipment

Equipment: Kickboard, Pull Buoy, Short Fins, Snorkel

Dues: $85 per month

Practice: MWF 4:30pm-5:30pm

Junior B

Age: 10-14 years old

Ability: Swimmers will have the ability to swim 50 yards unassisted of 4 competitive strokes, and manage a 60 minute practice.

Attendance: 3 practices per week

Attitude/Maturity: Learning a growth mindset while developing a self awareness of the body that will include self realization of mistakes and self correction, and self confidence through personal improvement. 

Objective: Swimmers will continue to master all 4 strokes, and learn proper practice skills to include using equipment correctly and complex drill progressions. Training will continue to increase in intensity as skill’s grow. Connecting practice to how we want to perform in a meet.

Equipment: Kickboard, Pull Buoy, Short Fins, Paddles, Snorkel

Dues: $85 per month

Junior A

Age: 12-14 years old

Ability: 3 or more 13-14 USA Swimming 2021-2024 Motivational "B" Times

Attendance: 4 practices per week

Attitude/Maturity: Keeping the growth mindset while developing a self awareness of the body that will include self realization of mistakes and self correction. 

Objective: Introduction to training while still perfecting the strokes through the use of progressive drills and kicking sets.

Equipment: Kickboard, Pull Buoy, Short Fins, Paddles, Snorkel

Dues: $120 per month

Practice: MWF 5:30pm-7:00pm; T & TH 4:30pm-6:00pm (pick 4)

Senior B

Age: 14 & Over years old

Ability: Swimmers will have the ability to swim 50 yards unassisted of 4 competitive strokes, and manage a 60 minute practice.

Attendance: 4 practices per week

Attitude/Maturity: A leading student athlete that consistently strives to demonstrate ownership over the pursuit of their individual goals.

Objective: Focus is on learning and growth in athleticism, proper stroke mechanics, and attention to detail. Goals are on individual and team goals, pursuing a higher competitive level, and collegiate swimming opportunities.

Equipment: Kickboard, Pull Buoy, Short Fins, Paddles, Snorkel

Dues: $120 per month

Senior A

Age: 15 & Over years old

Ability: 3 or more 2022 Western Zone Senior ‘A’ standards

Attendance: 5 practices per week

Attitude/Maturity: Model of what a dedicated student athlete strives to be within their team, LSC, and community.

Objective: Focus is on high performance, learning of individual stroke technique and race strategy , and team leadership. Develop an understanding of growth mindset and life balance with pursuit of junior national and national standard goals while learning about themselves as athletes and leaders, and continuing their pursuit of swimming excellence in college.

Dues: $145 per month

MWF 5:30pm-7:00pm; T & TH 4:30pm-6:00pm
