Coaching Staff

Madison began swimming at a young age, inspired by her two older sisters. She competed for Bixby High School, where she earned the role of team captain during her senior year. After graduating, Madison continued her passion for aquatics by lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at various pools throughout the Tulsa area, all while earning her EMT certification.
She went on to serve as the Head Swim Coach and Aquatics Coordinator at the Mahaska County YMCA in Oskaloosa, Iowa, leading the program for two years before returning home to Tulsa. Since then, Madison has earned her Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Full Sail University and proudly joined the Trojan swim family.
Now entering her third year coaching with Jenks, Madison has had the privilege of learning under Diego Henao—a foundational force in the Jenks swim program whose dedication, leadership, and impact have shaped generations of athletes. His mentorship has been instrumental in Madison’s growth as a coach, and she carries forward his commitment to excellence, discipline, and team spirit.

Coach Carlos began his swimming journey at a young age in his homeland of Venezuela. His love for the sport grew through years of dedication, competing in numerous national and international swimming events. Alongside swimming, he also excelled in water polo, representing his hometown at the national level. During college, he spent two years competing in collegiate swimming, followed by three successful years participating in Master Swim and Open Water competitions. He also made a meaningful impact by volunteering for three years, teaching swimming to visually impaired individuals.
Coach Carlos started his coaching career in 2017 at Miller Swim School, where he taught swimming lessons and adult classes, and coached the Junior Swim Team as an assistant. His passion and leadership quickly earned him the role of Head Coach for the Miller Swim Club (MSC), where he led both the Home School Team and the Junior Swim Team. Under his guidance, MSC achieved back-to-back Parks and Recreation Championships in 2022 and 2023.
In addition to his extensive swimming background, Coach Carlos earned a medical degree in 1996 in Venezuela and practiced medicine for five years. Outside the pool, he enjoys reading, music (where he’s known as "DJ Carlos" at events), and, of course, swimming.
Coach Carlos now brings his wealth of knowledge and vibrant energy to our K-4 & 5-6 age groups. With his vast experience, enthusiasm, and dedication, we’re confident he will make a lasting impact, both in the water and in the lives of the young swimmers he coaches.
Ceci graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Oral Roberts University this past May.
